St. Andrew's Family Worship
St. Andrew's Church meets on Sundays at 10.30am every week in Beaconhill Community Centre. It is an informal and friendly fellowship, and refreshments are available after each service. The first Sunday of the month is a communion service and the other Sundays follow a less liturgical service of the word format.
St. Peter's CAFE Church
St. Peter's Cafe Church meets once a month on a Sunday at 10.30am in Northburn Primary School. This is quite a relaxed service, ideal for newcomers with plenty of chance to chat over a drink before, during and after the service.
St. Peter's Family Worship
St. Peter's Church meets weekly on Sundays at 10.30am in Northburn Primary School. Usually the service on the 4th Sunday of the month is a communion service. The other Sundays follow a less liturgical service of the word format.
St. Nicholas' 8am
The St. Nicholas' 8am service is a quiet service of holy communion following the Common Worship service. There is usually a hymn, and the service lasts about 50 minutes.
St. Nicholas' 10am
This is the main weekly celebration at St. Nicholas' Church. It is a family communion service (except for the third Sunday in the month) with children's teaching (Big Fishes) available on all but the first Sunday of the month, when most of the children are at Cafe Church at St. Peter's. There is a lot of music, led by the piano or organ and music group singers, and it broadly follows Common Worship liturgy. The service usually lasts about an hour and a half.
Once a month the Sunday 10am service at St. Nicholas' does something different. With contemporary worship from our th3rd band and a less liturgical service, this aims to be a more modern and accessible form of church, great for newcomers. This service is also where we often hold thanksgivings and baptisms for babies and children.
St. Nicholas' Wednesday 10am
The 10 o'clock service on a Wednesday morning is a friendly congregation and the service is one of holy communion. During the seasons of Advent and Lent the liturgy uses the Book of Common Prayer, but the rest of the year is based on Common Worship. There are usually three hymns led by the organist and the service itself lasts just under an hour. Many of the congregation stay for a coffee and a chat after the service.
FEAST: fELLOWSHIP EVENING AND SPIRITUAL TREASURE
On the second (2nd) Sunday of each month at 6:30pm we have an evening of fellowship in St. Nicholas' Church, open to all and regularly attended by Christians from across the Parish. This involves a cooked meal together along with worship, prayer and teaching. We hope that through meeting at FEAST and learning about God together we can grow in our discipleship as a church family.
We do ask that you let us know you are coming purely for catering purposes and please let us know of any allergies.
sundays at 7
Once a month, on the fourth (4th) Sunday of the month we have an evening service at 7pm in St. Nicholas' Church involving contemporary worship and a small amount of teaching and prayer.
BEER & WORSHIP
Every couple of months, our young adults/"4th-site" (aged 18-40) meet up on an evening in St. Nicholas' Church at 8pm. We start by having a few drinks at our makeshift bar inside the church before coming together in modern contemporary worship.
