our churches

st. nicholas'

St. Nicholas' is the largest of our three churches, set right in the heart of Cramlington village. We have three communion services each week on:

Wednesdays at 10am

Sundays at 8am

Sundays at 10am

However on every Th3rd Sunday of the month at 10am we have a slightly different service with contemporary worship and a more relaxed vibe aimed at families and newcomers so this is a great place to start! Our Th3rd services begin with the band leading us in worship (~5mins) with a formal welcome from the service host. At this point children are able to go next door with DBS-checked youth leaders for their own activities and worship whilst the adults stay in the main church hall for more worship (~15mins), the readings (~5mins) and then the preach (~25mins). Afterwards, the children return from their activities and we often have a service of thanksgiving or a baptism of a new child (~15mins) followed by a final block of worship (~10mins). After the service, refreshments are served from our parish centre attached to the St. Nicholas' church building.

Children: Jesus said "let the children come to me" and so children are welcome at all of our services across the parish. All services at St. Nicholas' have an area at the side of church with toys and things for children to do which they are welcome to use throughout any service. On a Th3rd Sunday we offer specialised children's provision in the Parish Centre next door, led by DBS-checked leaders where they can worship and learn about various bible stories related to the main theme of the service. You are more than welcome to come into the Parish Centre with your child to make sure they settle in okay; alternatively it's also okay to not want to take part and for them to remain in the main service.

Parking: Free parking is available on Blagdon Terrace (limited space) or in a car park around the corner outside the CVYP (Cramlington Voluntary Youth Project).

We hope to see you soon!

st. peter's

St. Peter's meets at Northburn Primary School in Cramlington and meets once a week on:

Sundays at 10:30am

The services at St. Peter's also typically last about an hour with a mixture of worship, prayer and a preach. However on the first Sunday of the month we have Cafe Church which is especially relaxed, with an emphasis on food and drink, craft activities and making new friends.  If you haven’t been to church in a while, café church could be a good place to start!

Children: The services at St. Peter's are generally child-friendly and so children remain in the main hall at the school for the service.

Parking: Free parking is available on site at Northburn Primary School.
