On 17th August, we’re hosting this event run by Gather who'd love you to share in their day of prayer for Northumberland, as we gather together to worship our God and seek Him for our county. God meets our nation’s needs through the church, in its many expressions and denominations, and we will be speaking His blessing over the local churches in all our communities, towns and villages.

Meeting together, we seek to represent every element of the church and pray on behalf of the whole church in our county. We believe that as we meet in unity we can expect God’s blessing on the people we represent. In turn, God’s people become the bringers of good news to their communities.

We’ve planned the day to include prayer, worship and fellowship – with time to talk and pray together, share our hopes and concerns and meet with our God. In the afternoon – from 2pm, there will be a mix of prayer and worship; then at 5.30 pm we’ll share food we’ve collectively brought (faith supper). From 7.30pm we’ll do what we typically do at a Gather night.

Summer Holiday Club

Holiday Club this year is a three-day event from Thursday 22nd to Saturday 24th August between 10am and 3pm.

It will take place at St. Nicholas’ Church in Cramlington village.

It is open to children aged 6 to 11 years and will involve craft, sport, games, cooking and DVD Bible stories. There is a voluntary contribution of £2 per child per day and children should bring a packed lunch and sun cream each day.

To book a place please text Ruth Brierley on 07552 628 899.

If you are able to help with Holiday Club that would be great! Helpers are needed during the event from 9am to 4pm each day, although if you can only manage part of a day that is fine. If you can offer help, please contact Ruth on the above number.

And please can you start to collect unusual shaped packaging (e.g. moulding round a new mobile phone or other small electrical equipment, unusual shaped foam packaging – but not expanded polystyrene though). There will be boxes in church to collect these.
