Hot Chocolate Relaunch

On Friday 26th July our youth outreach project, Hot Chocolate, returned with a festival-themed re-launch event. It was a great night with a DJ, Live Lounge, lots of glitter and festival paint and even pizza and mocktails!

Thanks to North East YFC, Ignite Movement and North East DJ for providing the music and thanks to the amazing volunteers who make Hot Chocolate happen every week!

Gather:Day

On Saturday 17th August we hosted the Gather community at St. Nicholas' church for a day of prayer for Northumberland.

It was a great day filled with prayer, worship and the Holy Spirit as we welcomed visitors from across the county. Peter's message on how the church needs to move from asking people to "come and receive" on our terms to "going and giving" to those people where they need help was very interesting and a number of people shared exciting words and visions from God which fill us with hope for the future of Northumberland.

Hot Chocolate

Hot Chocolate is our youth outreach on a Friday night open from 7-9pm for anyone aged 11-18.

It aims to change young peoples' opinions on church and provides something to do on a Friday night. Whether that be video games, table tennis, or just chilling with free food and of course hot chocolates.

It's purpose is to show young people what church is all about, to show them that we are a community and to show them the unconditional love of God.

Rev'd Rachel Hudson has joined the Cramlington Team as Training Curate.

Rachel was licensed to the parish by Bishop Mark as part of our 150th Anniversary celebration service on 20th May 2018.

She was ordained priest in Newcastle Cathedral on Sunday 1st July 2018 along with 12 others, pictured below with Bishop Mark and Bishop Christine.
